Coached, not just supervised
Every session is led by instructors who teach the sport properly, so students measurably improve over three days rather than simply trying things once.

Plan your school trip →For three days a class trades classrooms for the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park: ocean, forest, granite and open coast road. Students learn real outdoor sports through coached progression, build teamwork and resilience away from the usual routines, and come back having done things they will talk about for years. You arrive, we handle the rest.

Surfing a first wave, topping a climb, finishing a coastal hike together. Shared challenge builds confidence and bonds a year group in a way a classroom cannot.
Transport, accommodation, qualified guides, all equipment and every meal are organised by us. Teachers travel as teachers, not as logistics managers.
We have run outdoor programmes on this coast since 2014. Students see the park through people who know its beaches, trails and crags by heart.
Every group runs on a track matched to its age, so younger students build foundations while older students push range and independence.
Foundations and confidence. A gentle but real first taste of each sport, paced so every student finishes the day having tried something they thought they could not.
Range and independence. More technical sessions, longer days and real decision-making, with students taking ownership of their own progress and their group.
A real sequence, paced like a course. Each day opens at the coast and closes a little further than the last.
Day 1 · Find your feet in the water
We meet the group, settle into the accommodation, then head straight to the beach so the retreat starts in the water, not in a briefing room.
Day 2 · Height, balance and trust
The middle day raises the challenge. Students climb real coastal rock with us holding the rope, then loosen up with a skate session built on the morning's focus.
Day 3 · Go the distance together
The last day is the longest. A coastal and forest hike through the Natural Park gives the group a shared finish line and a view worth the climb before we head home.
Every retreat includes
Five sports, one programme. Each one coached, each one chosen because students can genuinely progress in three days.
The fun is the point, but the trust is what gets a trip approved. Here is what stands behind every retreat.
“The clearest paperwork we have had from any provider, and the students came back changed. Three of them have started surfing at home.”
